FACT ACT Disclosures
The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act) was enacted in 2003 and amends the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), a federal law that regulates, in part who is permitted to access consumer report information and how it can be used.
The FACT Act entitles consumers to obtain one free copy of his/her consumer file from certain consumer reporting agencies during each 12- month period.
To request a free copy of your credit report from a nationwide consumer reporting agency, such as Equifax, Experian or TransUnion, you may contact the centralized processing center at (877) 322-8228, or visit annualcreditreport.com.
Tenant Patrol provides tenant related consumer reports to its clients who have contracted with us for those services. If you have not submitted an application with a customer we serve, we will not have a report on you. Tenant Patrol does not prepare consumer reports for any other purpose or for resale to unrelated parties.
If Tenant Patrol has prepared a tenant related consumer report in your name for one of our clients and you would like to receive a free copy of the report(s) you may contact us by telephone (toll free) or by mail.
